Just wanted to give another quick update regarding the line up of producers on the Moth3r remixes album. As you read previously, there have been a few adjustments due to some busy folks.

But alas, all is good, and the remixes are done and in my possession.

The line up (track/artist):

Goddess - Celer
Down We Go - Supercomputer Six Thousand
Choke - Aless
Scarlet - Coppice Halifax
Light Lesson - Implex Grace
Foxfire - Hecca
Never Enough - Headphone Science
Locus Ceruleus - Drexon Field
Vicious Cycle - Cheju
At This Depth - Counterspark
The Earth Mother - Electricwest

I'm going to be finalizing everything in the next few days, and soon (thankfully) this double release will be ready and available to you all. Yay!

-Pat

The Moth3r remixes are nearly complete; just waiting on a few more...

In the remix line-up, unfortunately David Tagg and CIty Rain are no longer with us... Thankfully, Celer have stepped in and delivered a truly gorgeous remix of 'Goddess'. No updates just yet on who will be remixing 'Choke' in the place of City Rain, but we will all see soon enough.

I have posted 'Moth3r' at Electricwest.bandcamp.com, where it's now available as a free download.

Be sure to look for it's (re) release at Archaic Horizon near the end of April. It will also be a free download, but will feature an additional remixes release with it, featuring remixes by Headphone Science, Ten And Tracer, Cheju, Drexon Field, Implex Grace, Counterspark, David Tagg, Coppice Halifax, City Rain, Hecca, and maybe one from me (if so, I'd best get started).

Just a little update.
I do apologize for the ups and downs related to this release. The advanced availability is the least I could do for you...

Hey peeps.
So, recently and unfortunately, Rope Swing Cities has recently decided to shift into solar minimum, and no longer push new releases. We all know how busy life can get, so this is no problem. Many thanks to people who purchased the release this way; I am most grateful for the small sum of money this made me. (Let's just say... mmmm, food that isn't Ramen is good! :)

However, as originally promised, the free download of 'MOTH3R' plus all it's remixes are still coming. I will be releasing these via the Archaic Horizon netlabel sometime around the end of March or beginning of April. Everything will be the same, except there will be a bonus release featuring some killer remixes, and of course, there is the free factor. All in all, 'Moth3r' (though I am so proud of it) is going on several years old, and I will just be relieved when it's finally available to everyone everywhere, so I can move on with my life!

In other news, I have just had two separate and exclusive singles released on some V/A compilations...
The first, 'Ronin' is part of a two-disc cd set, available for purchase on the German label, Envizagae.
The second, 'Crystalline' is a part of the winter-themed IVDT compilation, and is available as a free download from their site.
Check out the Envizagae and IVDT sites, or go to my myspace blog for more info and quick links.

And finally, life in general has kept me pretty busy lately. I am still a full time student, though I won't claim to be doing a stupendous job lately. I am probably destined to be a super super senior, but whatev.
I also (finally) moved out of my house of the last 6 years, which is where I wrote every Electricwest and Eluder album I've ever made, amongst COUNTLESS other memories and experiences. Though I wanted out pretty badly, I also do miss it, and will cherish all the good (and bad) times I had there for the entirety of my life. How the ol "Brickhouse" will be without me I can't say, but I wish it the best, and hope it continues to inspire art from it's residents like it did me... I <3 you, BH!

My new place is small but comfy, and regardless, should help direct me into a new chapter of my life. For this, I am grateful, hopeful, and excited...

**On a final final note, I have three new EW songs (not counting the new singles) that I'm pretty happy with, and I will be investigating the methods for which I will make these available to you asap. But probably not until 'Moth3r' is out for a little longer... you dig?

As usual, mad love to you all for your support.
And lots of love and respect to anyone actually reading this... you are why I continue to do all of this.
:)

Cheers,
Pat

These two songs originated from the end of my advanced audio production class last spring as the final two, open-ended projects. Not sure how long I'll be able to host it, but download and enjoy this fifteen minute "mini" release here while you can

Ahh yes. Summer. My least favorite of seasons.

Regardless, within my tiny musical world there are some updates to be shared...

-For starters, my next album, 'MOTH3r," is scheduled to be released on the widely appreciated netlabel Rope Swing Cities sometime in mid/late 2008.
Along with this free downloadable release will be a separate 'Remixes' release of the album featuring a super sweet (secret for now) lineup of producers I admire the shit out of.

-I have contributed two exclusive tracks for an upcoming, summer-themed compilation on EED. The first, titled "We Bloom At Midnight," is an Electricwest track that has not been released anywhere, and is a bit on the upbeat side compared to most. The other is from another, sillier side project of mine (Thugs & Kisses). The track is "Move Your Mind."

-As usual I'm working on remixes. Currently, I am busting out one for Cheju for a remixes release of his in the near future. I am also attempting to do one for Phasen (also for an upcoming remixes release of his). The deadline there is in about four days, so I'd better get cracking on it.

-I've been invited to contribute an exclusive track (that doesn't exist yet as of now) for an upcoming compilation on IVDT.net
Its set to be a winter/snowflake-type theme, and our (the artists') take on that. To be released for free (with some decent promotion too) in early winter 2009, featuring some seriously bad ass artists. More details as the emerge...

There are, as always, a few other things in the works, but details will be posted as they grow. Aside from that, this is a decent update as of recent.
With school approaching quickly, and a full load of classes scheduled, this should prove to be an interesting 2008/2009...
